I can recall during my childhood and teenage years that certain numbers stuck out to me when I saw them in my day to day life. The earliest numbers that I can remember were 3 and 29. This observation of numbers amplified when I was in high school. At that time in my life I was on both the track and football teams. As I moved up the high school academic ladder, I became a junior and now part of the varsity football team.
One of the "big decisions" for a new varsity team member was to choose his jersey's number. You were allowed to choose almost any number provided a senior didn't already possess it. Since 29 was so frequent in my life I naturally selected it as my jersey number. On the day of the number selection process, I remember seeing a senior with the number 19. I couldn't choose that number, and never thought that I would, but I could recognize in that moment that somehow the number had meaning to me.
The following year I decided to keep 29 as my jersey number because I felt it was silly to buy two new jerseys. Also, an underclassmen wanted my number so I couldn't let that happen haha. Kidding aside, and more importantly, the underclassmen that wanted my jersey number wore 19 in his sophomore year. I was presented with this number again. Why? My mind recognized it but easily dismissed it as coincidence. My heart felt something about it that, in a way, forced my mind to hold onto the memory of this number for a future time in my life.
I graduated from high school in 2004, I graduated from college in 2008, I moved to Colorado in 2016 and in 2019 the number 19 came back into my life. It was like the number itself had it's own sentience so it can provide me a message. The moments of observing the presence of 19 in my day to day activities were profound. For example, I had a dear family member pass away on 02/19/2019. Another example was that I left my first Colorado job in April of 2019 to go to a company that was on 19th street in downtown Denver.
I didn't realize it in 2019 but I was experiencing the number 19 at the mind and heart levels. When a moment of synchronicity would arrive that provided this number I would not just be mentally aware but excited within my heart. I believe this was part of the key to the increased frequency of observation I was experiencing.
I would say that 2020 was the definitive year that I gave myself permission to explore the reality of the number 19. As I would experience it more, I needed to learn the mechanics of it. This is when I was guided to the subjects of angel numbers and numerology. Due to traumas that I experienced in my life, combined with an over-active mind sustained by the trauma, I felt rejected from most people and dismissed most of the time. Being guided to thousands of pieces of literature, research, media and communities that spoke about these two topics was immensely validating. I was ecstatic and ready to travel deeper into the subject matter.

Often, when our guardian angels want to get our attention they will send us a specific series of numbers that will appear in our experience again and again." [1]
Angel numbers can hold a great deal of information within them. For instance, 19 has the vibrations of '1' and '9'. Individually, these digits have their own meanings. When they are combined together, it creates an integrated message that my guides are sending me to meditate on. Furthermore, when there are triple and quadruple digits, that multiplies the importance of the message even more.
Over the years, I have learned to consciously remember what I was feeling, doing and/or thinking in that specific moment the number was sent. This allows me to resonate with the message even deeper so I can take the guidance in full. At first, it wasn't easy because of all the natural distractions of life as well as our mind's ability to create doubts and rationalizations. However, like any skill, it became easier with practice.
