Introduction & My Intention

Updated: Oct 28

The Phoenix is a well known mythological figure that has been a part of many cultures over the course of our civilization's existence. While there are degrees of perspective regarding what a Phoenix represents, there is a general acceptance that the bird of fire is a metaphor signifying renewal and rebirth. [1] [2]

Bursting into flames of the bird's own fire, the Phoenix beds down in the ashes of it's former self. The Phoenix that rises from the ashes has gone through a rebirth. This rebirth allows the Phoenix to integrate the wisdom gained from the experiences of it's previous life so that it can move into the next life. This is the process of evolution.

Since 2023, I have seen the word "Phoenix" a great deal in my daily life. It wasn't until recently that I took the time to understand at the heart level why this bird of fire resonated with me so deeply. I came to the realization that I have gone through my own Phoenix experience since I came back to my hometown in September of 2022. This realization became a catalyst for me to start a new podcast and begin writing again.

With my creativity rekindled, I want to share the story of how I needed to burst into the metaphorical flames of my own fire so that I could heal traumas, shed layers of conscious/unconscious fear and rise into a renewed version of myself. I will also share my life experiences as well as the research and practices that I utilize in my present day.

Additionally, I will include information about the people of integrity that have come into my life. These are the people who have given me the tools to amplify my own healing which continues to support my spiritual awakening.

Another intention that I have with sharing my life with you is to support the healing power of being vulnerable. I have found that vulnerability is an imperative aspect of being human and key to our planetary civilization's evolution as physical, emotional, mental and spiritual beings.

Lastly, as I reflected on my own Phoenix story I observed a bigger picture understanding: the planet Earth as well as our entire human race are going through a collective Phoenix story in this lifetime. This understanding guided me to the name of the podcast and blog. That being said, welcome to Planet Phoenix!

I hope you enjoy what I have to offer and always know you're welcome here.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and/or listen to the show!
